Our Philosophy of World Missions
World missions is at the heart of Christ’s command to His church. Jesus said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” (Matthew 28:19), reminding us that the gospel is for every people and every place.
Missionaries go because they are called, and churches send because Scripture compels us to partner in the work. As Paul wrote, “How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?” (Romans 10:14–15).
At Grace Baptist Church, we joyfully support those who carry the gospel across the world, believing the fields are still “white already to harvest” (John 4:35).
Maxi-Ann, Lawson
Taylor & Lynsey Cranfill Family
Chicago, IL - USA
Taylor received Christ in November of 2003 at the age of 4 after his dad walked him through how he could know for sure he was going to heaven. Lynsey was saved at the age of 4 after a conversation with her parents. They both surrendered to the calling of God in October of 2010 at a Missions Conference at their home church, and attended Veritas Baptist College, where Lynsey graduated in 2019 and Taylor in 2020. Taylor and Lynsey met when they were young at Lighthouse Baptist Church and were married in September of 2020. They are now called of God to plant a Bible-believing, Baptist church in the city of Chicago, Illinois.

Cha-am, Thailand
The Nickells are church-planting missionaries that are called by God to reach the Thai people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In Thailand, they have started language school, as well as working with other missionaries of like faith. This will help them learn the language and practice sharing the gospel with the Thai people. Their mission is to 1) Reach Thai people with the Gospel. 2) Start Bible-believing, Baptist churches, and 3) Disciple and train new converts, eventually raising up native pastors for those churches. Their mission verse is Acts 26:18 - 'To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them whicha re sanctified by faith that is in me.'
